Nippy, Winter day. Perfect for a stroll through the Humana Grand Allee. Met up with my friend, Nick Roberts, and despite the not-to-photogenic sky, managed to catch a few shots. Winter is hanging on much too long.
Just before the big snowstorm in Kentucky, my bride and I were in Arizona--Phoenix and Scottsdale areas. I went off to the desert, of course (what else?) at McDowell Park & Reserve, went off the trail, and waited for sunset. Ventured to Taliesin West, too.
Finding some negative space. I just had to get out and take a few shots, in the cold and rain. This is at the Louisville Water Company filtration pool in Crescent Hill.
It was beautiful day for a drive, so I headed out to Bullitt County. There are some really fun roads to drive fast on out there. Out of the comfort zone.
I was making a condolence call at the mega-church and saw this young fellow taking care of himself by exiting his consciousness from the crowd. Taken with my iPhone 6.
Sun-splashed day in Bullitt County, and I came away with a few. A little eddy off of the creek. A post with ice forming. The edge of a little water fall in the creek. Some ice formations in the creek.
Winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, ended very well.
Grey day. Bizarre beach. Ohio River.
Winter afternoon.
Louisville Waterfront in November. They really are building a bridge (to somewhere?).
Popular Photography's Mentor Series trek in Oregon was amazing.
Beautiful Fall day, but in this place, you will have to hike and hike to get the shot.
French Lick, Indiana. Cars, cars, cars. Beautiful day for a car show. Here's a few shots.
Had to be done.
Late Summer weekend at Putnam Park Race Course in Indiana. Just what the doctor ordered.
Upper crust noodling.
Fog rolled in at sunset.
There's only one. People- and animal-watching capital of the world.
