Los Angeles, the City of Angels, strip malls, traffic jams, and mostly pleasant weather. I love Griffith Park and other choice spots, and family members who chose to live there, but otherwise not my cup of tea. We headed to the mountains for my nephew’s wedding (fun!), specifically to Twin Peaks in the San Bernardino Mountains, elevation about 6,000 feet, touted as the Rim of the World. Where else would you find Rim of the World High School? Quite a contrast to L.A.! We were above the clouds, with peaks popping up above the cloud layer. The night photo shows the whole valley under the mist. The one with the peak peeking (peaking?) out of the clouds far away, that peak is on the west side of the city but I’m not sure what mountain it is. If you know, please share.
